once upon this life,
fate snatched me away from you
and i could do nothing
but write :
'..in the silence of this deep isolation
amidst the opposing force of the doubting crowd
across the miles of open ocean between us..
i cast to you this faithful oath of unending love
and vow that this word be invulnerable of change
this i pledge with my sincere and genuine heart
i contemplate for your content in my reverent arms
though my physical self is not within your sight
and my arms not in touch with your most perfect skin
i hope that our love is already sufficient,
moreso abundant for both of us..'
and alas, fate has predestined our side..
at the present moment we are inseparable..
and our love,
has emerged victorious on fate's small test
not only did it survive, but it grew..
among the silences of our simplicity
